The wiki is a technology that, because its ease of use, should allow teachers and their students in Concord and Nanae to communicate directly with their counterparts. I assume that:
1. Concord and Nanae teachers are overworked. They already have many things they must accomplish in their classrooms.
2. The Concord and Nanae school systems want their students to learn about other nations and cultures (global awareness).
3. The Concord and Nanae school systems want their students to learn to use the technological tools of the 21st century.
4. Concord and Nanae students can learn new technologies and become more globally aware by using wikis as a new means to implement current curriculum.
5. Concord and Nanae teachers can identify common teaching goals that can serve as the starting point for the use of a wiki.
6. Concord and Nanae teachers can be made aware of the potential of the wiki.
7. Concord and Nanae teachers who are interested in wikis can be provided sufficient training in the wiki to begin one this fall.
